Born in Whistler, BC, August began acting at the age of six. Shortly after, they spent 6 seasons as a member of the company at the Stratford Festival. They are best known for their series regular role as Jess Geller on MARY KILLS PEOPLE, and their most recent film, WOMEN TALKING, directed by Sarah Polley, will be released later this year.
